Dr. Kenneth Lee Jones

Dr. Kenneth Lee Jones, 80, of Deatsville, Alabama was born on February 19, 1945, in Wetumpka and left us and met Jesus face to face on May 23, 2025. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 27,2025, at 11:00 a.m at Brookside Memorial Gardens with Rev. Mike Ingram officiating. Those serving as pallbearers will be Jeff Jones, Chris Jones, Keith Jones, Justin Jones, Greg Jones & Chris Montgomery. He was born to Charlie Lee Jones and Ruby Penton Jones and attended school in Holtville. After graduation from high school, he worked for South Central Bell and then joined the Air Force where he served from 1966-1969. He later attended Palmer College of Chiropractic where he graduated in 1975. He practiced as a Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine for over 42 years in both Tallassee and Millbrook. He was a member of Millbrook Baptist Church where he served in many capacities including the role of deacon. He served in many civic organizations including the Gideons, Kiwanis Club, and Rotary Club. He also served as an officer in the Alabama Chiropractic Association and was a member of the Central Alabama Chiropractic Society. Ken loved his family and all things outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, spending time at his family land in Coosa County, and Alabama football. When indoors, you could often find him in his basement shop carefully creating keepsakes for his grandchildren and busy building or repairing most anything. He was especially proud of his two alma maters, Holtville School and Palmer College of Chiropractic. As a respected Doctor of Chiropractic, he devoted his life to restoring wellness, easing pain, and nurturing the wellness of those he served. His hands brought relief, wisdom, and comfort to countless patients. Ken was passionate about his love of God, family, and country. He was preceded in death by his parents Charlie and Ruby Jones and brothers Kyle Jones and Donald Jones (Patsy). He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 37 years, Glenda Jones, daughter Elizabeth Jones, son Eric Jones (Debbie), Dr. Rodney James (Betsy), grandchildren Matthew Jones, Hannah Jones, Dalton James (Shelby), Austin James and Drew Smith (Jennifer), great grandchildren Archer James and Reid Smith, brother Gene Jones (Norma) and a host of nieces and nephews.
