Mrs. Elizabeth Jenell Acreman

Elizabeth Brooks Acreman, of Millbrook AL, passed away Jan 29, 2026 at the age of 93. Ms. Acreman, a beloved woman of faith and family, passed peacefully at the home of her daughter Jenell. Her greatest joy was her family and spending time with the members of Friends and Newcomers Club where she remained active playing cards and Bunko. She especially enjoyed the past couple of months where she enjoyed the Holidays. She stated that those were the best Holidays in years. She had moved in with her daughter and son-in-law the past few months and was enjoying life to the fullest. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who were blessed to know her. Prior to relocating to Alabama, she called home Zephyrhills, FL where she had been employed by Buddy Foster Chevrolet and The Ford Company. She was a big supporter of the Zephyrhills Little League Program where she volunteered countless hours alongside Billy Brooks. She was preceded in death by Her grandson Chad Nesbit and Great grandson Dalton A. Nesbit; parents Charlie Coy and Cora Daniels; Brothers Harold, Edsel, James, Herbert and sisters Marie and Eloise. Survivors include her daughters Beverly “Jenell” Montgomery (Robert) and Linda Brewer (David) Former SIL Kenneth Nesbit (Patricia); 9 Grandchildren Brian Nesbit (Tiffany), Kenneth Nesbit (Dawn), Ken Brewer (Janette), Jennifer Brewer Harvey (Chad) Christy Brewer DeWeese (Ken), Deborah Brewer Gonzalez (Mike), Jessica Brewer (Pedro Tovar), Stacey Brewer Morrell (Ty), David Brewer. 24 Great Grandchildren Cody, Caleb, Breeauna (Tazz), Ethan, Kadyn, Landyn, Addisyn, Jackson, Gavin, Brenden, Jaylyn, Alexis, Kelsey, Coner ( Brianna), Brittany, Mikel (Natalie), Mikayla, Mark, Brooke, Jayce, Zavia, Zaylee, Sawyer, Dawsen; 4 Great Great Grandchildren Lilah, Atlas, Braleigh and Ellie. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel of Brookside Funeral Home with Pastor Jimmy Whitworth officiating. The interment will follow at Brookside Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Ty Morrell, David Brewer II, Chad Harvey, Brian Nesbit, Tim Sides, Don Crutchfield, and Ken Nesbit. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Brookside Funeral Home, Crematorium & Memorial Gardens of Millbrook, AL directing.
