Mr. Mattison "Matt" Noah Aldridge

Mattison Noah Aldridge, 28, of Pike Road, Alabama, passed away on May 27, 2025. He was the beloved son of Michael Lynn Aldridge and the late Dawn Aldridge Barron. Matt was a devoted husband, brother, son, and friend. He served faithfully as a student pastor and coach, pouring his heart into every life he touched. He had a remarkable gift for preaching the Word, bringing truth to life with clarity, passion, and compassion. His messages were heartfelt, Spirit-led, and deeply rooted in his unwavering faith. Matt had an unshakable passion for the gospel of Jesus Christ. His greatest desire was for others to come to know the love, hope, and salvation found in Jesus. Whether through a sermon, a song, or a one-on-one conversation, Matt made it his mission to reflect Christ in all he did. His life was a living testimony to the grace he preached. Music was also a core part of who Matt was. He found joy and purpose creating music with his band, The Theikos Exchange, where his talent and heart came together in powerful worship and meaningful connection. He used every platform he had to point people to Jesus. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Jessie Aldridge. Their marriage was marked by deep love, laughter, and unwavering support. Matt loved Jessie more than anything in the world, and his devotion to her was evident in every part of his life. He is also survived by his brother, Mason Aldridge (Caitlin); his sister, Marlee Aldridge; and his treasured niece, Campbell. He will be dearly missed by his grandparents: Regina and Philip Lee, Connie and John Copeland, and Bill and Helen Aldridge. Matt was preceded in death by his mother, Dawn Aldridge Barron, and his grandmother, Elva Mae Brown. Outside of ministry, Matt enjoyed video games, time with loved ones, and adventures with his loyal dog and best friend, Winston. He had a quick wit, a kind heart, and a presence that made people feel instantly at ease. Matt’s life was a testimony to grace, faith, and love. He made a lasting impact through every sermon, every song, every sideline, and every relationship. He was deeply loved, and his legacy will continue in the lives of all who were blessed to know him. A celebration of Matt’s life with Cale Colvin officiating will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Meadowbrook Church in Gadsden, AL. Visitation will be from 12pm-2pm, and the service to follow at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to your local student ministry.
