Mr. Kevin John Crowell

Kevin John Crowell, age 57, of Deatsville, Alabama, born and raised in Lynn, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at home, on July 2, 2025. Born to Estelle Crowell and the late Clyde Crowell, Kevin was a beloved son, brother, uncle, great-uncle, and friend. His sense of adventure, generous spirit, and quick wit touched the lives of everyone who knew him. Kevin is survived by his mother, Estelle Crowell of Hudson, New Hampshire; sister Linda Bucknell and brother-in-law Paul Bucknell of Holly Springs, North Carolina; sister Nancy Herald and brother-in-law Gary Herald of Hudson, New Hampshire; sister Ruth Towle of Deatsville, Alabama; and brother Kenneth Crowell and sister-in-law Jackie Campbell of Sharpsburg, Georgia. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews, who lovingly called him “GREAT” Uncle Kevin. He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Crowell, and his brother, Thomas Crowell, paternal grandparents Enos Crowell and Carrie Crowell, and maternal grandparents Clarence Roberts and Mary Roberts. Kevin lived an adventurous life and spent several years in Alaska, a place he especially loved. He had a love for 1970s music and was known for his ability to sing along to nearly any song from the era, usually while grilling or baking (especially his famous cheesecakes). A devoted “dog dad,” Kevin had a lifelong love for the Boxer breed and cared for many over the years, including Jack, Joe, and Talia. Throughout his life, Kevin held a variety of interesting roles, including warehouse staff, hotel staff, dog sled musher, vehicle hauling driver, oil delivery driver, and more. He was also a very skilled handyman. Always eager to lend a hand, Kevin was known for helping family and friends with home renovation projects, car repairs, and was a reliable source for advice of all kinds. A Celebration of Life will be held in New Hampshire at a later date.
