Mrs. Christine Graff Vetter

With hearts full of love, we remember Christine, age 70, who passed peacefully, after a long illness, into the embrace of her Heavenly Father on August 25, 2025, in Montgomery, Alabama. Christine was born on September 6, 1954, in Goshen, Indiana. She found her greatest joy in nurturing others as a devoted teacher, guiding and inspiring countless students, and also through her cherished role as a loving mother. She shared her life with her late husband of 30 years, Stanley Vetter, and was a resident of Millbrook, Alabama, where she taught at Victory Christian Academy. She attended Victory Baptist Church, where she served God through her talent of playing the piano, by teaching Sunday school, and being available whenever her church family needed her. She lived her life with unwavering faith, resilience, and grace. Through every storm she was a steady light, guiding her family with courage and a love that never faltered. Christine was preceded in death by her son, Elias Vetter; her parents, Stanley and Virginia Graff; and her brothers, Jim Graff and Dan Graff. She is survived by her children, Kathryn (Matthew) Cuthbertson, Suzanne (Scott) Jackson, Valerie (Chance) Bowden, Jacob (Meghan) Vetter, and Leah Vetter; her grandchildren, Amber, Johnathan, Makayla, Ethan, Xander, Maddie, Sam, Colten, Daniel, Brynn, Caroline, Bryant, Kal, and Charlotte; her great-grandchildren, Everleigh, Elias, and Rhyder; her brother, Phil (Linda) Graff; and further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many close friends. All knew her as a safe harbor, her arms always open. A service will be held to honor her life with visitation at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 29, 2025, at Victory Baptist Church in Millbrook, followed by her memorial service at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Joey Byrd officiating. All are welcome to join in celebrating her life and the love she shared. Her journey here may be complete, but her love and legacy of faith remain.
