Mr. Lloyd Raymond Thrash

Mr. Lloyd Raymond Thrash age 63, a resident of Deatsville, AL passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at a local hospital. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. from Lake Hill Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the church. Mr. Thrash was a member of Lake Hill Baptist Church and worked for 23 years with the State of Alabama DOT. Mr. Thrash was preceded in death by his parents Lloyd Dalton Thrash & Joyce Hardy. He is survived by his wife Lisa J. Thrash, son Tyler Thrash (Loren), brother Kenny Thrash, sisters Renee Wallace (Greg), Scottie Henson (Jerry), grandchild Harper Raye Thrash and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Pallbearers will be Jerry Henson, Dalton Clark, Justin Collins, Devin Lincoln, Ryan Cook & Tyler Blankenship. Raymond and his wife Lisa have been together since Junior High School and the bond between the two has exemplified the true meaning of love and kindness to each other and to all that they knew. He was known in Holtville as the fastest running back on his High School football team where he excelled as an athlete. Raymond enjoyed spending time with his son Tyler, hunting, fishing and riding his motorcycle. The apple of his eye was his granddaughter whom he loved with all his heart as well as his family.
