Mr. Jimmy Wayne "Rub" Nokes age 64, a resident of Millbrook, AL passed away on March 10, 2022 at a local hospital. Mr. Nokes was a member of American Legion Postt #133 in Millbrook and a carpenter. He was preceded in death by his parents Adrian Brown Nokes & Florence Swindell Nokes. He is survived by his brothers L.D. Nokes & Ronny Nokes, special friends Butch Kinney & Leonard Wheeland and many friends. Pallbearers will be Mike Aylsworth, Ken Burns, Michael Len Wright, Stephen Luetscher, Thomas Karrh, Harry James Goodman, Jr. & Seth Spotloe. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, meorials may be made to American Legion Post #133, 4980 Main Street, Millbrook, AL 36054 in his memory. Brookside Funeral Home, Crematorium & Memorial Gardens of Millbrook, AL directing.
