Jesse Lee Graves Jr. was born to the late Bernice Kimes Graves and Jesse Lee Graves Sr. in Birmingham, Al. He gave his life to Christ at an early age and continued to follow him until his heavenly transition on Monday, April 4, 2022. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held Saturday, April 16, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home, with Rev. Mike Reeves officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 15, 2022, from 12 noon until 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. He leaves to cherish his father, Jesse Lee Graves, Sr, of Inglewood, California, two sons LaTerrence Graves and Kenneth Graves of Montgomery, Alabama. Two sisters, Michelle and Teresa Graves. Three brothers, Vincent, Anthony and Kenneth Graves all of Inglewood, California, six grandchildren, Ja'Nya, Jordan, Shavonna, Laterence Jr., Myhigha and Kenneth. He graduated from Morningside High School and entered into the United States Air Force after graduation. He is preceded in death by one grandson, Latterreon Graves, mother, Bernice Kimes Graves, twin brother, Charles Graves, great-grandparents Charlie D. Graves, Sr., Lonnie and Lilly Ruth Kimes. He leaves four of his best friends Butch, Virgil, Ricky and Charles Cooper and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family and friends who loved him dearly.
