Mr. Harold Franklin Tyus

Mr. Harold Franklin Tyus age 79, a lifelong resident of Mulberry/Autaugaville area of Autauga County passed away on November 24, 2021 at his home. A Celebration of Life service will be held on January 22, 2022 2pm at Autaugaville Baptist Church. Mr. Tyus was born on April 3, 1942 in Selma, AL to the late Golsan Tyus & Annie Rea Hull Tyus. He was the Produce Supervisor for Winn Dixie for many years & the Area Manager for Hudson Thompson Wholesale Distributor. He later owned & operated TMart Grocery & Mr. T's Restaurant in Autaugaville. He was a member of Autaugaville Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents Golsan & Annie Rea Hull Tyus, brothers Charles Cherry, Walter Cherry, Donald Tyus & Ronald Tyus. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Faye Sheffield Tyus, daughters Gina Wylie (Deland), Jan Simmons (Michael), Ginger Gunter (John), grandchildren Jessica Pittman Foree (Daniel), Wendy Pittman Parliament (Devon), Taylor Simmons, Evan Simmons (Kathryn), great grandchildren Truett Simmons, Arden Simmons & Annabeth Parliament. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice in his memory. Brookside Funeral Home, Crematorium & Memorial Gardens of Millbrook, AL directing.
