Mrs. Dorothy "Dot" Catrett Caton

Mrs. Dorothy "Dot" Catrett Caton age 89, a resident of Titus, AL passed away on April 5, 2022, at a local hospital. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. from Brookside Memorial Gardens with Pastor Jameal Brown officiating. She was a graduate of Straughn High School in Covington County, AL and retired from AT&T after 33 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents Russell & Ila Brundrick Catrett, her husband Mack Collis Caton, Jr., stepson Steven Wayne Caton, stepdaughter Sue Ann Thomas, brothers William Catrett & Travis Catrett. Dot had a huge heart. She always supported the people in her life just as much as her puppies. Her warm smile, contagious laugh, and quick wit will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure to meet her. Mrs. Caton is survived by her son Todd Blair Caton (Ellen Laura Causey), stepson Mack Collis Caton III (Teresa), brother Dorrell Catrett (Enda), eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and her companions Trixie & Shelbie. Pallbearers will be Ricky Catrett, Dennis Catrett, Andy Catrett, Stewart Catrett, Hudson Pugh, Cliff Causey. Family and friends will assemble at the graveside at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, April 9, 2022. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to, The Humane Society of Elmore County, 255 Old Central Plank Road, Wetumpka, AL 36092, in her memory.
